Paul Reddam:

Steve’s knowledge of racing, his enthusiasm for the industry and his relationships with owners and trainers led me to entrust him with overseeing the sale of Andujar and Sharp Lisa.  They sold for $2.5 million and $3.4 million respectively and I’m fairly certain that Kempton Bloodstock will assist us in the near future.

Steve followed our mare Collect Call during her career and was made  a lot of effort in developing a relationship with us.  We sent Collect Call to Taylor Made and Steve recommended her first mating which resulted in a $2 million dollar Saratoga sales yearling.  The second foal out of our mare was also a breeding recommendation from Steve and that resulting foal was Derby future book favorite and $800,000 yearling, Old Fashioned.  We trust and follow Steve’s advice.

I met Steve in 2002 when he flew to Oaklawn Park to buy part of a filly I trained named Don’t Countess Out.  From that point forward, Steve has been a go to guy for both Cindy and I and our clients.  He not only bought an interest in another of our fillies, Josh’s Madelyn before she became a Grade 2 winner and track record holder, he advised us on the mating upon her retirement and helped us get her sold for $1 million.

Steve has an amazing amount of enthusiasm and passion for our game.  I have entrusted Steve with many of my top horses to sell including Breeders’ Cup winner, Round Pond who sold for $5.75 million.  Steve was one of the main reasons that I do business with Taylor Made and   I continue to support Steve now under his Kempton Bloodstock banner.

Steve’s passion for the industry is always evident.  His energy and enthusiasm towards us was one of the reasons we entrusted our multiple Grade 1 winner Ashado to Taylor Made when the time came to sell her.

Ashado sold for a world record $9 million

Steve assists us in many ways.  He brought us to Taylor Made and we’ve been happy with that.  He now helps us with our matings, the purchase of horses at public auction and the private acquisition of both mares and racehorses.  Steve is a big part of our team.

I met Steve when I joined Taylor Made in 2002 and he was the director of client development.  Steve has a wonderful knowledge of our industry and I would consider him one of the top young agents in the game.
